I was first drawn to the philosophy of yoga. I was going through a very difficult time in my life, searching for some kind of calm. The more I read about the practice of yoga the better I felt. So, after much reading I tried my first yoga class and quickly got hooked. I love all styles of yoga and believe anyone can benefit from it. I received my 200 hour certification from the Sivananda Ashram in Catskill Mountains, NY. I then went on to complete a Level One Teacher Training in Vinyasa Flow at Amazing Yoga. I have also received training in Aerial Yoga, teaching in an Aerial Studio for awhile. Yoga has taught me the importance of breath, keeping a clear mind and being present in the moment.
