Kelsie is a 200-hour RYT through Yoga Alliance/Totally Yoga. Kelsie found yoga through a therapist’s recommendation to help ease symptoms of depression and anxiety. Skeptical at first, she gave it a shot and quickly got hooked. She was amazed by the mental, spiritual, and physical transformation she gained through her practice, which also allowed her to deepen her spirituality. Kelsie uses mindfulness as a key component when teaching her classes, with emphasis on connecting the breath with movement. She believes every student should honor their body during their practice and always take rest and modifications as needed. She strives to have a perfect balance of a refreshing workout with plenty of time to stretch and detox the body. Kelsie’s goal for her students is simply to feel rejuvenated and centered after their practice.
