While battling postpartum depression, Emily sought various outlets for relief and eventually came upon yoga. What she found on the mat was self-awareness and self-acceptance. The love and support she received from her family and members of the Totally Yoga studio brought her back to life. Emily continues on her yoga journey and is always learning and growing in her practice just like her students. She’s always eager to incorporate new and inventive poses to her already rigorous flow practices. Being a mother has taught her to never judge and carries this philosophy into her classes. She hopes that everyone who attends her classes leaves with a lightness of heart and a sense of peace. She looks forward to seeing you on the mat!
